Gangland Graveyard

image

In October 2004, in a vacant lot in New York City, FBI agents unearthed more than 100 pieces of human remains.

The rotting, severed bodies revealed the gruesome details of a triple murder more than 20 years old. Far from ordinary hits, these murders redefined the highest ranks of the modern mob and marked the stunning rise of Joe Massino, the man the FBI considered "The Last Don."  Gangland Graveyard uses the latest forensic techniques to examine the evidence recovered from the scene. The film begins with the story of one of the most famous undercover agents of our time, "Donnie Brasco," leading to a painstaking shift in FBI strategy, and concluding with the piece of unexpected evidence that, decades later, would finally bring down Massino.
