The people of Bhutan, a remote Buddist Kingdom in the virgin forests of the Himalayan belt, have long accepted the existence of the migo, a human-sized primate whose name translates as wild man. Now, for the first time ever a team of scientists film in this beautiful wilderness, and search for the mythical missing link accused by locals of abducting a woman and keeping her in his cave. With the help of the King of Bhutan's cousin the team track the legend. They examine a mysterious pelt and listen to compelling evidence in favour of migo's existence from villagers and nomads. The investigators then follow the trail into the high passes of the Himalayas – one of the last truly unexplored places on Earth. They return with hair samples for DNA analysis by Oxford Professor, Brian Sykes.
