Take five down-and-out people and give them the chance to turn it all around. What would happen if five unsuspecting people were each given $100,000 and the free will to use the money as they pleased?
Wild trip to Ibiza? No problem. Extravagant Beverly Hills shopping spree? Sure. College tuition for 2 kids? Good investment. Move out of the crack-infested ‘hood and into the suburbs? It could happen. Dreams would be made overnight. But the question really is, can money change these fragile people’s lives for the better…or will it simply compound the problems they already have? Can money truly give them a second chance? Does money buy happiness?
