Life is complicated and guilt has many sides
This gripping drama follows Juliet (Maxine Peake) through the criminal justice system as she struggles to come to terms with her life after attempting to kill her husband, a respected and powerful barrister at the height of his profession, played by BAFTA winning actor Matthew Macfadyen. To the outside world they are an idyllic family, but behind closed doors all is not what it seems. One night, Juliet finally snaps and stabs Joe. Life will never be the same for the Miller family. Is Juliet capable of a cold-blooded murder, or is she a desperate woman, committing a desperate act to protect herself and her daughter? As with Criminal Justice 1, Peter Moffat has created a masterful study of human behaviour that will have us on the edge of our seats throughout.
