Real life medical dramas in a real emergency room
Sky’s hit series The Real A&E returns with more stories of what really goes on in an Accident & Emergency room. In these brand new episodes we watch as heroic hospital staff battle an assortment of life threatening injuries and the happy endings when patients fully recover. Time is always critical in dealing with a medical emergency so the air ambulance crews provide a rapid transfer from the scene of the accident to the hospital. The emergencies in this series range from a racehorse trainer losing his nose after a horse kicks him in the face to a baffling case of a man in pain with a mysterious and rare condition which is eventually linked to calcium deficiency. Other stories include a basketball player who may never play again after a life threatening car crash, a woman who survives being hit by a train and a tiny spot on a toe leads to an amputation of half a leg.
