The RHS Chelsea Flower Show, held in the grounds of London’s Royal Hospital for one amazing week in May, is the greatest horticultural celebration in the world.
Enjoy the grandeur and spectacular design of the Show Gardens; the imaginative and inspirational themes in the smaller Urban and Artisan categories; and experience the impact of the glorious floral displays in the Great Pavilion, home to the world’s greatest plantspeople. This year the show welcomes the return of celebrated designers Bunny Guinness and Cleve West, while the B&Q Garden promises the delights of vertical gardening with Chelsea’s tallest-ever garden. The Great Pavilion offers a truly global flavour this year, with Kevock Garden Plants makes its Chelsea debut with a display of alpines inspired by the Himalaya, while Birmingham City Council features a colourful dramatic floral display inspired by the forests of Rwanda, central Africa. We take an exclusive opportunity to peek behind the scenes to witness first hand the blood, sweat and tears it takes to make a Chelsea garden dream come true. And of course, Chelsea wouldn’t be Chelsea without an opportunity to hear some of the world’s greatest horticultural experts giving advice and inspiration to all, no matter what size your garden. This year’s show promises to be the most exciting yet.
