Telling the story of David Beckham, the global icon of style and celebrity
2013 marks the beginning of the end of David Beckham's football career, but Brand Beckham is so much more than sport.
From sarongs to mohawk hairstyles, David has led the way in brave and often controversial style choices. From the early days of his life as a celebrity, the news of a new haircut topped bulletins and made front-page news.
Then there are the tattoos, at least 20 at last count. He's always been hotly sought after to front brands, from becoming the face of Brylcream in 1997 to teaming up with H&M last year for his own range of underwear.
His face - and body - have adorned billboards and magazine covers the world over.
What comes next?
Becks the businessman? First he's set to open Union Street Café near London's Borough Market this September with his mate Gordon Ramsay. So what next a chain of restaurants and cafés?
Big screen Becks? With friends in Hollywood could we see Beckham make a move into the movies.
Will he follow Victoria into fashion? We're sure the modelling campaigns for the likes of Adidas and H&M will continue but will he start turning his hands to design?
Or is this the start of David's career as stay-at-home dad?
