Let Heston get you in the mood with the food of love
Valentine’s
Day, the most loved-up day of the year, when around 16 million couples
celebrate with a romantic meal in the UK. But is there really a connection
between food and romance?
Each year in
the build up to the big day, experimental chef Heston Blumenthal is asked
whether he thinks there really is a recipe for romance. People want to know is
there is a specific culinary formula that can help spice up their love
lives.
In this
one-off Valentine’s special Heston has joined forces with a team of experts
from the worlds of science and psychology to try and develop a meal that will
actually affect how people in a relationship feel about each other. And he’s
invited five couples in different stages of their relationships to experience
the results of the multisensory menu he has created.
