During a visit to a local recording studio in Private Enterprise, Keith, a toilet man, hears a band which will change his life. He steals a demo, takes it to a record company and with the band safely sent abroad he starts to clean up.
Public demand forces Keith and a friend to impersonate the band. When the real band suddenly returns to England all hell breaks loose. In Consuela, a spoof of Daphne Du Maurier’s ‘Rebecca’, John takes his new wife Jessica back to his ancestral home ‘Brownstrokes’. It soon transpires that John is far more interested in his dogs than his wife. Jessica also has to contend with the sinister Spanish housemaid Consuela who runs the house and seems to resent the presence of Jessica.
