Synopsis
For almost 30 years filmmaker Leslie Woodhead and anthropologist David Turton, in a series of five films, have been recording the continuing story of the Mursi, a remote group of cattle herding warriers in Southern Ethiopia. Now they are returning to the Mursi at a time of crisis. A murder has triggered a mass killing, and the Mursi are faced for the first time with a ferocious ultimatum from beyond their horizon – surrender the killers to the government or face death and destruction. This film follows what happened next – and how the Mursi are dealing with the coming of tourists armed with camcorders.
