Anji heads off on a journey of self-discovery, but soon returns to Leeds with a surprise. Callum (James Frost) is quick to try and overcome the ‘problem’ and offers more than just a helping hand.
With Anji gone, a lonely Beth accepts a new job at a private hospital. But her rebellious and drunken behaviour soon raises a few eyebrows. A couple of dates with the ward’s latest addition, registrar Dr Peter Compton (Matt Bardock) and Kate announces she has finally found ‘the one.’ But her dream wedding turns into a nightmare for her friends who harbour serious reservations about Kate’s choice of future husband.
Meanwhile, Lia thinks her love-life is doomed when Jamie (Derek Riddell) receives a tempting job offer from Australia.
