Why Men Don't Iron

Synopsis
Are men physically incapable of picking up their socks? Do women have a genetic disposition towards hating football?

This provocative documentary proved a hot-bed for debate when aired in Britain last year. It put paid to the question ‘Why can’t a woman be more like a man?’ with a definitive ‘because nature says so’. By analysing the brains of both sexes, neuro-scientists disprove the notion that they are the same. In an age dominated by a ‘nature-versus-nurture’ debate, this documentary negates the belief that a baby is a blank slate on which parents and society print behaviour. Rather than exacerbating the differences between men and women, the programme’s probing arguments and scientific evidence reach the conclusion that the sexes are built to be complementary and to work together as a team.
