Synopsis
The sequel to The Continuing Adventures of A Boy Called Alex

A film which features highlights from an astonishing production of Bach's St Matthew Passion conducted by Alex Stobbs - Cambridge music scholar and cystic fibrosis sufferer; in front of a packed house of 800 paying audience members at the famous Cadogan Hall in London earlier this year.

Much of the film is devoted to the performance itself, including solo performers from highly distinguished and professional singers who are supported by the renowned Rodolphus Choir and the Southbank Sinfonia Orchestra. But there will also be off and on screen commentary from Alex and his former Eton music teacher, Ralph Allwood, who will discuss the nature of Bach’s epic work and the phenomenal music challenges faced by Alex in conducting it.
