Six contestants fight head to head to win £100,000 by answering questions correctly to add to the prize fund. The prize fund doubles in each round. When the rounds are finished the weakest is voted off and the player that contributed the most wins the money but the catch is that they must hold on to it.
They must go head to head against the four remaining contestants. If they give the wrong answer they will not walk away with the entire prize fund but they must also remember that Revenge is the final challenge.
Round one - With 1 minute on the clock, contestants Buzz in. If they answer correctly they win £1,000, added to the collective prize pot. If they are wrong they are locked out of the next question. There is NO handing over the question - Right/Wrong Move on. If they reach £10,000 in under a minute, we stop.
Round two - The same rules as round one apply, but the questions are worth £3,000
Round three - The questions are worth £6,000 with the same.
Then the total prize is revealed - The person who contributed least is eliminated, going home with nothing. The person who contributed most wins the money….. all they have to do is hang on to it. But they have a choice.
Head to Head - 5 contestants remain. The holder of the cash has to play the other four contestants in a series of 4 head to heads. The holder of the cash gets to pick the order they play the remaining 4 contestants, they get to pick the question category (there are 6) and crucially they get to answer first. As it is the first to 3 correct if they answer correctly they will win. However they can elect to PASS the cash on to another and jump into the last head to head but they won’t get to pick the category or answer first. But the others will have done the work. Lose a head to head, and you have no chance to go home with the whole prize pot. Strategy, in the green room and during the first 3 rounds the contestants get to know the strengths and weaknesses of their opponents, and can use this information when choosing the categories. At the end one person will be left holding the cash, they have just one hurdle to cross.
Revenge - The host now has 5 (or 7 budget dependent) questions, each with an a, b c, or d answer. He asks the other contestants the question and they lock in their a, b, c, or d answer. He asks the holder for their answer. If correct the money stays intact and we move onto next the question. If wrong the prize pot is halved. We reveal the answers of the opponents. If one of them is correct they take over holding the remainder of the prize pot and we move onto the next question. If two or three of them are correct the holder has to choose who takes over and we move onto the next question. Each time a question is wrongly answered the fortunes halves and changes. After 5 (or 7) questions whoever is holding the cash wins and takes it home.
