Journalist Cherry Healey immerses herself in the lives of seven women, each at a different stage of their life to explore the issues of “looking for love”.
Over the course of her journey, Cherry attempts to answer the age old questions about finding love:
At this stage in your life, how do you find a partner and why do you feel that you need or want a partner at this point in your life?
The generations range from school girls looking for a first boyfriend, through to women who are husband hunting in their early to mid 30s and the more rapacious 50+ cougars. The film will concern itself more with the emotional lives
of the women themselves, and their personal experiences with love, rather than the actual dates they go on.
The Seven Ages of Dating broadcast in the UK on BBC Three under the title 'Cherry Goes Dating.'
