Two very different families face a number of competitive environmental challenges in order to change the way they live their lives.
Each episode focuses on a specific area for which the families face various trials for example, living without their cars, reducing the amount of garbage they produce and travelling the green way. In each episode, the two families meet for a face-to-face fight in a fun, action filled competition such as building and racing a box car from items they find on a dump.
Before the final judgement, both families are sent out to convince as many neighbours, co-workers, friends and strangers to start living the way they now live. For the final stage, the two families are put in front of a panel of judges – experts in climate and green issues. The judges have been watching the families closely and have the ultimate decision to make – Who is the greenest family?
