Paedophile Hunters
Synopsis
The film follows three cases of Americans caught in the act of gross exploitation, and shows how - in the Obama era - American agents are working supportively with their Asian ounterparts to deal with crime.
With unprecedented access to one of the most controversial agencies within America’s Department of Homeland Security, this film follows US agents in Cambodia as they track down American paedophile sex tourists. Working with local activists and police, the American agents use state of the art forensics and surveillance techniques to collect damning evidence of sexual predators preying on young children.
The star of this film is a former Khmer Rouge boy soldier, now a fully fledged US agent with an office in the American embassy and a signed photo from Bill Clinton on his desk.

'It’s harrowing and shocking – not just because of the abuse that goes on, but because of the families who sell their own children into the trade. It’s also a proper documentary, in that it reports on events rather than creates them.'
