Synopsis
The Mud Men travel to Poland, in search of more treasure
Following a tip off from young Polish mudlark, Adrian Kostromski, Mud Men Johnny & Steve travel to Poland to discover the hidden history that lies beneath the ground of one of the country’s most fascinating and ancient cities – Glogow. Their finds will lead them on an adventure into Poland’s rich and heroic history, centred on WW2.

Glogow has always been a frontier city and has witnessed many battles on the front line. The area has changed hands many times and over the centuries Glogow has been a part of Poland, Sweden, Prussia, Austria, Bohemia, Germany and France! During World War 2 it was German territory. By February 1945 it had become the Germans’ most eastern line of defence and the city was the scene of a brutal battle as the advancing Russian Red Army defeated the German soldiers to take this key Nazi stronghold before sweeping onwards and invading Berlin.

The Mud Men will be looking for finds in the woods of Glogow which are home to Prussian defensive forts, WW2 bunkers and Napoleonic artillery towers. The woods are hiding many military artefacts from WW2 and if you dig a little deeper you may find objects relating to Glogow’s rich and ancient history.
