Synopsis
Welcome back to Manchester’s most notorious estate - The Chatsworth - for one last, epic series of Shameless.

Gob smacking as ever, Series 10 returns to the original heart of Shameless – the unapologetic lives of families on the Chatsworth Estate rejoicing in triumphs, scams, love and adventures. Watch Manchester’s finest in all their glory – thankful they’re not your neighbours, but secretly wishing they were.

The Maguire’s toast the expansion of their empire: Mimi’s (Tina Malone) hijacked control of the local school and Shane’s (Nicky Evans) planning the festival of a lifetime under the watchful eye of sexy copper Sergeant Randall (Thaila Zucchi). But when Jamie (Aaron McCusker) discovers he’s not a pure blood Maguire, the family hierarchy is called into question – is Jamie still head of the Maguire clan? And will the Chatsworth survive the arrival of Jamie’s Muslim half-brother Kassi (Jalaal Hartley – The Borgias) feisty Jewish wife Esther (Isy Suttie – Peep Show) and their three feral children. Meanwhile at the Gallagher’s feckless Frank finds himself climbing the employment ladder as janitor of ‘’St Mimi’s’’ School - conveniently funding his new leisure activity - the Gastric Bandits, a prostitute double act, Sherrilee and Derrilee (Sarah Totty and Sue Vincent) who light up his life. Tiny Stella Gallagher’s left to fend for herself - striking up an unlikely friendship with Lillian (Alice Barry) along the way.

Fireworks fly when Avril (Karen Bryson) moves in with overbearing sister Patreesha (Jacqueline Boatswain – Grange Hill) and sparky niece Mary Mae (introducing 21 year old Adelle Leonce). Elsewhere, Chesney (Qasim Akhtar) unveils a chemist shop in Chescos, managed by white Muslim atom bomb on a timer Remona (Moya Brady) and attracts the attention of Mary Mae. And Lip Gallagher’s (Jody Latham) been living closer to the Chatsworth than he’s dared to admit. Discovered by Frank mid series - nothing has changed between father and son. With a suitably Shameless finale in store the residents of the Chatsworth remain defiantly dysfunctional to the end – living life to the full and getting away with murder.
