Synopsis
Celebrities take to the dance floor.

Let’s Dance is a spectacular live entertainment series which sees top celebrities take to the dance floor each week to pay homage to some of the world’s favourite and most iconic dances; from films, pop videos, stage musicals and television shows.

Unlike other dance shows, Let’s Dance displays a genuine sense of fun; there is no nastiness or scathing put-downs, it's feel good, funny, and pure family entertainment.

Each week, the show features a number of famous dances from movie classics such as Flashdance’s ‘What a Feeling’, Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze’s 'I've Had The Time of My Life’ finale from Dirty Dancing and John Travolta and Uma Thurman’s twist in Pulp Fiction. There is plenty of room for pop too with modern-classics like Britney Spear’s’ 'Hit Me Baby One More Time’ and Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ as well as world famous stage shows and musicals such as Michael Flatley’s ‘Riverdance’.

There are six dance performances per show, with the dances being performed in solo, by duos or in groups.

The dancing stars work with a team of top choreographers to master the dance moves and with a team of stylists to represent their dance icon's look. In a fight for the the chance to be crowned champion of the dance floor, they put on their dancing shoes and take to the stage to give the performance of their lives in front of a live studio audience, a panel of experts and the viewers at home.

Who will be chosen by the public to take a place in the final? And who will be chosen by the panel to join them?
