Synopsis
PARADISE LOST is the first green-reality TV show with household waste at its centre.

Sixteen contestants are removed from their comfortable lives and transported to live on a dump yard! For two whole months they will be making a living from the waste that the rest of us throw away.

These individuals all possess specific skills...there are plumbers, electricians, nurses and fire-fighters amongst the PARADISE LOST team.

Together they must make their homes, clothes, cooking facilities, and even toilets, just from the waste around them.

The aim of the game is to get rich using only the waste available to them. Recycling and selling the discarded junk will add money to their pot, but that’s not all. Each week the main money-making mission is set by a celebrity, or celebrity panel, from a specific background. A fashion designer may ask them to put on a ‘rubbish’ fashion show, or a F1 driver my ask for a scrap race car ready for a track event.

The money made goes into a shared pot. This is divided out amongst those with the willpower to last the whole two months away from paradise. This is reality TV’s most meaningful and relevant format.
