Synopsis
Helping bully victims across the country. Led by a celebrity who has experienced bullying in their past.

Only recently, we have started to address bullying as a major problem in modern society. At least two students will be victims of bullying in every class. By simply reading its definition, we get a sense of how serious, how heart breaking, this subject matter really is. Bullying may be defined as the activity of repeated, aggressive behaviour intended to hurt another person, physically or mentally. Bullying is characterised by an individual behaving in a certain way to gain power over another person. In Comeback Kids, a national celebrity, who was a victim of bullying whilst growing up, is on a mission to help teenagers who experience serious bullying in their personal lives and at the same time, grow awareness of this social phenomenon and help put an end to it. Over the course of six months, our celebrity will help six young bully victims aged 14-16, from all across the country. From those being bullied for their size or sexuality to some who don’t fit in, feel insecure or are too shy: Comeback Kids is here to help all. Our host is going to organise a series of camps to help build the young people’s self-esteem – the goal is that by the end, they will feel good enough about themselves to stand up in front of the bullies, or someone close to them, and talk about their experiences. The object is to have the bully victims voice their problems and put an end to the bullying. The camp exercises may include role play scenarios, trust circles or trying new hobbies and outlets to express their emotions – all these activities are designed to make these victims feel like victims no more. Comeback Kids will aim for lasting results; making sure that the bullying does not continue and that the children can stand up for themselves. These very special teenagers should be able to go out into the world and lead great lives with faith in their own abilities.
