Synopsis
Who wouldn’t dream of getting a brand new wardrobe in a day?

In Shop Amok, a very lucky girl will get a chance to get a big pile of new clothes from her favourite brand with a little help from her boyfriend: he will need to know her well enough to identify which clothes she would pick from the entire shop!

The girls entering the competition will have all sorts of reasons for wanting new outfits… every girl has “nothing to wear” at least a day a week! But ultimately, it will be up to their boyfriends to fulfill their dream.

Our host leads three couples through three challenges that will bring them closer to the final prize. In the opening round, the girls have 30 minutes to run through the store and try on as many outfits as they can. Once the outfits are on, they must strut their stuff on the catwalk to add them to their basket. The rules are simple: they can only keep the clothes that they managed to try on in half an hour.

In the meantime, a fashion expert and a celebrity guest offer hilarious comments on the clothes as they watch the whole scene from a monitor and cheer the girls on.

The girls now need to estimate the value of the clothes they have collected. Whoever is furthest from the right amount is eliminated. Two couples are left to go on to the next round.

In the final round, it’s all up to the boyfriends. The men in the two remaining duos also have 30 minutes in the store to guess the clothes their partners picked – no pressure! The boyfriend who matches the most clothes win a brand new wardrobe for their girlfriend: will it be a miss or match?

In Denmark, the TV show was fully funded by a leading clothing company; the format offers the perfect opportunity to partner with a commercial brand.

In Shop Amok we find out if these men know their girlfriends well enough to secure the ultimate dream prize and keep themselves out of the dog house!
