In each episode a couple is given
fourteen thousand pounds to pay for their wedding day. There’s just one catch:
the entire organisation, planning, decision-making and management of the budget
has to be completed in just three weeks… and just by the groom. The wedding is
organised in top secret and the bride and groom have no contact until she walks
down the aisle on the wedding day! The bride must sit tight while the groom and
his best man plan the biggest day of her life, right down to her wedding dress.
Nearly one hundred episodes of Don’t Tell the Bride have been transmitted, with
a recent, successful channel move in the UK from BBC Three to Sky One.
