This is a warm, light hearted, feel-good series that focuses on individuals in communities across the country who want to improve the place where they live. They each have an idea that they believe can make a difference, but need an injection of cash to kick start things. In each episode four people with an idea pitch to a group of 100 locals, who have each made a donation. After the pitches the locals vote and the winner takes the donated money for their project: this could be anything from putting on a concert to creating a communal garden. The cameras return after a month to check on the project: is the community benefitting? Has it got extra support? They also catch up with the runners-up to see if their projects have advanced. Most have, proving that when people care, communities everywhere can benefit.
In each episode presenter Kevin Duala travels to a new location, from Barry, South Wales to Wakefield, Yorkshire, discovering and celebrating the positive things people do for each other.
