Synopsis
CODE GREEN CANADA is a 6-part, 1-hour episodic television series in which 12 homeowners from across Canada were each given $15,000 to retrofit their homes with energy and water conservation technologies in a competition to save on home energy and water consumption, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The family that managed to achieve the greatest reduction in electricity, heating fuel and water consumption won a Toyota hybrid Prius. The television series first aired on the CBC’s main network and on CBC Newsworld between May 25 and July 8, 2006.
