Early in the morning, five-year-old Richard was woken by his older sister Sonia. She told him their mum hadn't come back from a night out. The children put on their dressing gowns and went to the bus stop to wait for their mum. She never returned. Later that morning Wilma McCann's body was found lying on the playing fields behind the family's home. She was the first victim of Peter Sutcliffe - the Yorkshire Ripper. For thirty years, Richard and Sonia have been haunted by what Sutcliffe did to their family . This programme follows Richard and Sonia as they attempt to make sense of what has happened to them. Will their search for the other children of the victims of the Yorkshire Ripper help them to move on or will they just face further disappointment?
