Chef For A Night
Synopsis
Ambitious, amateur chefs are cut down to size in this food show with a twist – each one is given the opportunity to run a famous restaurant for the night.
With expert tutelage from restaurateur Roy Ackerman, the intrepid amateurs plan their menus before a practice run at their allotted eatery. Once the head chefs are satisfied that the newcomers’ food is up to scratch, the aspiring Anton Mosimans are let loose in the kitchens to cater for real clients. As most of the amateurs discover, the professional kitchen is a cruel and stressful environment. Add a full camera crew and you have the recipe for hilarious, confrontational TV.
