In 2001 the salaries of American CEO's reached an all-time high. Some were earning as much as $14million a week. Then the energy giant, Enron, collapsed after hiding debts of over a billion dollars. It was the biggest bankruptcy ever and in its wake other corporations were found to have overspent as well.
