Teenage Boss premiered on 23rd November 2011 on NRK1 at 19.45 with a 45.4% share, easily beating the slot average for the channel which sits at 33%. The premiere episode beat all competition by a huge margin. The largest commercial station in Norway, TV2 achieved the second highest ratings with only a 16% share. The second episode maintained these high figures achieving 612,000 viewers and a 43.8% market share. Once again, Teenage Boss comfortably beat all competition in the slot. These high figures were maintained throughout the six episode series.

Teenage Boss season 2 launched on NRK1 on 14th November 2012 at 7:45pm. The season premiere won the slot with an audience of 478,000 and a 33.2% market share. The second highest rated programme was TV2’s daily soap at 7:30pm which saw a 25.2% share, followed by Comedians At Work at 8pm which achieved a 15.6% share. All other programmes in the slot were below 10%. Episode 2 of the second season saw a rise to an overall 36.6% market share and 499,000 viewers. This episode also achieved an impressive market share with young audiences taking 29.5% of the 12-19 year old demographic. Episodes for the second season have also seen solid online viewing figures with the second episode viewed by more than 125,000 people in one week. Teenage Boss episode 2 was the most popular programme on NRK’s website during the week of broadcast, beating programming from across all genres.
